Are you interested in how new technologies can be introduced in culture and education? Do you want to find out how digital tools can help various groups of people with different and special needs? Do you want to hear how our national library plans to help people with visual impairment?

The National and university library "St. Clement of Ohrid" - Skopje and the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (FINKI) with the support from the British Council designed an audio player for people with special needs. Its aim is to allow easier access to audio content available at the unit for people with visual impairment at the national and university library.

The audio player is a result of the project "Web based audio player for people with special needs" of the National and university library and the ICT Chamber of Commerce (MASIT). With this project both institutions partnered with the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (FINKI) during the KulTIP project. Their project was the winning proposal for introduction of innovative solutions in cultural institutions and was awarded the first prize.

Join us at the promotion of this solution and find out about the possibilities that this offers for people with special needs.
