This role will be working closely with the Regional Senior Evaluation Advisor and the project management team – on Supporting Greater Media Independence project. The MEL Manager will be responsible for the project monitoring and ensuring high quality and timely inputs, as well as ensuring that the project maintains its strategic vision and that its activities result in the achievement of its intended outputs in a cost effective and timely manner.

Role overview

We are looking for an experienced  professional who will  be responsible for implementation of the monitoring and evaluation activities of the Project.

Some of the main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain an effective monitoring system that response to information needs for donor and British Council purpose
  • Develop and maintain a monitoring system that effectively links project budges to planned activities and produce monthly updates
  • Monitor all project activities and progress towards achieving the project outputs.
