Professional Translation, Editing and Proofreading Services for Educational Materials under the 21st Century Schools Programme – Phase II, North Macedonia

The British Council is seeking to engage a translation service provider/consultant for delivery of high-quality translation, editing and proofreading of educational materials into Macedonian, Albanian and Turkish languages as part of the 21st Century Schools Programme – Phase II in North Macedonia.

Phase II aims to build on and expand on the original programme by focusing on lower-grade primary education and supporting class teachers working with children aged 9–10. Its primary goal is to strengthen the capacities of lower-grade primary school teachers to integrate critical thinking, problem-solving, coding, cybersecurity awareness and basic artificial intelligence concepts into classroom teaching, enabling children aged 9–10 to develop essential 21st century skills from an early age.

The selected service provider/consultant will be responsible for providing professional translation, editing and proofreading services for educational materials related primarily to cybersecurity hygiene, online safety and responsible use of AI in the first instance, however the scope may be extended subject to project needs.
